They follow the bets below more mentioned, except Hillary Clinton.

- Tim Kaine, 50 years old, governor of Virginia (east) since 2005: that practicing Catholic, former-missionary Jesuit in Honduras, was a specialized lawyer in the defense of the civil laws. Between 1988 and 1996, Bayh was governor of Indiana, a state strongly republican. In the position, it reached fame when balancing the budget and to lower the taxes, besides allowing the creation of about 350.000 jobs. In function of that, Bayh continues extremely popular in his/her state.

- Joe Biden, 65, president of the Commission of External Relationships of the Senate - it is a heavy weight of the American political life. He/she is in the Senate, in following mandates, since 1972, where it represents the state of Delaware (east). Pré-candidate in the democratic race of 2008, quickly adhered to Barack Obama's arrays and if it turned one of their main counselors as regards to foreign policy.

- Chris Dodd, 64, president of the Bank Commission of the Senate, where it is since 1980, for the state of Connecticut (northeast) - he/she knows all of the intrigues of the political life of Washington. It was also pré-candidate, without success, in the race of this year.
